Brace yourself!
It’s week five. I wanted to let you know I’m still here in front of the keyboard, cake in one hand, hammer in the other, pencil behind the ear.
The response to my last email highlighted to me that even though we are isolated, we are still very much connected. And that means both our work and home To-Do Lists are still LONG!
How are you getting on with yours?

As well as our never ending DIY tasks, homeschooling duties and house modifications, we’re also still working hard behind the scenes on projects, plans and designs. We’re ready to hit the ground running when this lockdown ball-and-chain is removed.
And with all the design work we’re getting through at the moment, when we soon emerge out of this tunnel I predict that ALL of us will be busier than ever before!
Brace yourself! I think 2020 is shaping up to be the year of home improvements.
That’s because of course, we aren’t alone in being stuck at home. Everyone’s at home; and all their rooms are under the spotlight. And guess what? They’re realising that they’ve been making do with a lot of things for far too long.
Not only are people looking around their homes and deciding it’s time for a change, but they’ve also got the time to put a plan into action. Including a heap of people who may never have had the time, had we not found ourselves in this situation.
Even when ‘normal’ life resumes and people find themselves back at work, school and routine, the majority will still be without their annual holiday – and for us that is a massive window of opportunity. It’s money refunded that people will plough back into their homes, that they now cherish more than they ever did. And it’s time given back to them to get their kitchen projects underway.
