Challenging ‘that’ fitter perception
I read a pretty harsh blog on the Kitchen and Bathrooms News recently that really touched a raw nerve.
It was rather confronting, you may have come across it. In a recent survey of over 1,500 Brits, 73% reported that kitchen fitters were the most ‘unprofessional’ tradespeople.
I’ve had the pleasure of working with many fitters over the years and I have to disagree.

I know first-hand how frustrating and disheartening it can be trying to deliver an excellent service, when the odds were never in your favour to begin with.
Turning up to a job that hasn’t been measured properly, a kitchen supplier delaying delivery, furniture arriving scuffed and marked. Sound familiar? These are just some of the setbacks beyond your control, that can leave you in the firing line of a disgruntled customer through absolutely no fault of your own.
Here at Pentland, we do things differently. It goes without saying how much we appreciate the loyalty of our clients, because most of them are kitchen fitters that buy from us directly. And we will never forget that.
We know this business inside out and use our experience and knowledge to make every kitchen purchase a seamless transition. We cross our T’s and dot our I’s to ensure we always deliver what we’ve promised, when we’ve promised.
On the rare occasions that things don’t go quite to plan, regardless of the reasons why, we go above and beyond to make them right again.
So, let me finish with a question. Do you want to be classed as one of that 27%, one of the ‘professional guys’? If the answer is yes and you want to work with an honest, reliable company who pride themselves on making your job easier, then lets chat.
